Ask Your Father: Politics & why they’re important

The 2016 presidential election is starting to get interesting for many reasons — “The Donald,” being only one of them.

For new(ish, even) fathers, it’s all the more interesting as the U.S. of A is in quite a peculiar place and that means an unsure future for our families.

In comprehending this, I came to a realization. I realized that in my 32 years on this earth, I have yet to truly care about a presidential election. In 2008 and again in 2012, I “cared.” But this time around, I’m all in.

My little one isn’t so little anymore and, shit, things need to get better! So, this time around, I’m all in and you should be, too.

In this edition of Ask Your Father, I admit this oversight and wonder if I’m not alone.

Have thoughts? Disagree with me? Think I’m a complete idiot? Let’s hear it in the comments below!
